World Book Day changes lives through a love of books and shared reading. The mission is to promote reading for pleasure.
Reading for pleasure is the single biggest indicator of a child’s future success – more than their family circumstances, their parents’ educational background or their income.
Our children and some of the staff enjoyed dressing up as favourite characters from a treasured story book.
We all had great fun along with the Primary School with a catwalk on stage, some music and dancing and of course an extra visit to the school library for story time.
